"In addition to expanding upon my
knowledge of the medical field, I learned two very important lessons
through installing air conditioners, blinds, crimping computer wires
and driving through all parts of the Bronx. These two lessons are,
to be independent and do what makes you happy. Working at
Comprehensive Geriatric Care this summer gave me a strong
understanding of how both patient care and administrative aspects of
medicine come together to form a functional medical
practice."

"Working in the office allowed me to
interact with quite a variety of different people and personalities,
while visiting the hospital allowed me to directly observe the
doctor-patient relationship. Though at times I did find it
challenging to complete work with limited instructions, I think it
helped me overall to be more independent and thoughtful about what I
had to do. While at CGC I saw an immense amount of dedication and
love of their jobs exhibited by the people who work there. Overall,
I had a really wonderful experience and I will treasure it
always"
